Lake Delhi Dam was completely damaged as a repercussion of heavy rainfall. The Maquoketa River water flew out due to the rainfall. This caused lots of damage near by, the owner of Lakeside port and who lives at a distance over there had to suffer a lot. Mr Stender saw his home facing the wrath of this flood. His house was drenching in water. Water skis were getting piled up. Paper towels were tattered here and there. This incident happened when he and his friends were dining and having pork sandwiches with hand sanitizer.
Mr Stender was examining the financial loss he had to suffer due to this tragedy. He had to lose thirty-five to thirty thousands that were just in ports. But, this was not just the end; he lost over thirty to forty thousand and seventy five thousand as an overall loss.
He had to bear the pain because he had not insured himself for the floods because he could not afford it. This resulted in lots of suffering and was very saddened by this tragedy.
Over 8,000 people were the victims of this flood in Lake Delhi Dam. Maquoketa River had led to this fury with the water level of monstrous extent. The waves of river were accompanied by rain and altogether resulted in the havoc.
