San Francisco Marathon which took place on July 25, 2010 was won by WOW team. This marathon was exclusively for women and the WOW team bagged the first place in the female running club relay category.
WOW took the gold medal in Women’s Running Club Relay Category! The WOW team is the Bay area’s club for women. It is a running and walking club which is open for women of every age group and facilitates them with their needs.
Lauren Ganes who is the member of WOW team came second in the age group of 60-69 in the San Francisco Marathon. She covered the distance of race with a record time of 2:05:31. WOW team is also known as Go WOW team and their group aims at maintaining fitness. This would be achieved by their walking or running together. The club looks forward to keep up the friendship with the time spent together. This club is open to all the women of Bay Area.
Stephanie Atwood is the coach of the WOW team which gives women a chance to stay in shape with the help of workouts, bootcamp, track, etc. It also calls for the women who want to be fit through walking and running
